Wedding photography at Trevor Hall

Deborah and Ben were married in December at Trevor Hall near Llangollen.

Well, what to say about Trevor Hall? Visiting Trevor Hall is a unique experience; it’s a country house available for private hire, but it has a real rock’n’roll vibe that stems from its owners’ extensive collection of eclectic memorabilia and decorations. It’s a country house like no other and is a great location for wedding photography.

Our couple booked Trevor Hall to create a wedding with a house party feel. We think they succeeded! As the images below show, the day was full of fun, friends, family and laughter.

We started with images of the bride and groom getting ready. We’re a husband-and-wife team, so Jane gets to hang out with the bride and her bridesmaids, while Geoff captures the nervous groom and his groomsmen. We created a lovely mix of pictures, just a few of which are shown below:

We loved Deborah’s antique-coloured dress (well Jane did anyway, we’re now stepping outside Geoff’s comfort zone). The tint added the subtlest touch of colour to the beautiful lace gown. Definitely one of the loveliest dresses we’ve (Jane’s) seen this year!

The wedding ceremony was held in the Great Hall. We made sure our camera settings captured the room’s rich colours, while using natural light to highlight the emotion of the ceremony. Here are a few of the photographs we took:

The grounds of Trevor Hall provide plenty of opportunity for wedding photography. There’s the entrance with the smart red front door, a conservatory, a gazebo and, of course, the epic landscape all around. Because it was December, we were limited in the locations we could use, but still managed to create fun images of the guests and beautiful images of the couple themselves. Here are just a few:

Overall, it was a really fun wedding and we loved photographing it. If you’re looking for a wedding venue with a difference, we’d certainly recommend Trevor Hall.
